The Story...

I’m Andy McCoy I originally started racing bikes in the 1980’s, after a successful career racing mountain bikes, I became a professional photographer regularly contributing to the mountain bike media and magazines.

This naturally progressed into making more extensive content for social media, interviewing riders and industry insiders, initially for the cycling media but eventual evolving into my own you tube channel and social media platforms named “The Head Angle”.

I started using this platform to help support riders, and other non-profit institutions within cycle sport, I formed a National BMX race team and now with some amazing people have formed the THA Cycling Club, I’m a regular commentator for BMX and MTB racing, a regular expert guest on Podcasts reviewing racing and industry news, and recently was the lead presenter for the Malvern’s Classic platform during their festival weekend, away from the media though I Chair the Midlands BMX region, I’m a member of the BMX commission, and National British Cycling Councillor, where I’m one of a few people who advises the National Governing Body on any manner of cycle sport related topics.

Today The Head Angle project is the THA Cycling Group and consist of several members all of whom work as 100% volunteers, to support riders and achieve our goal.
